ARTIST BIO
Kendall Brown is a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer located in New York City. Born in Bucharest, Romania and raised in Fairfield, Connecticut, Kendall discovered her love for dancing, performing, and even choreographing, in third grade. In 2018, Kendall relocated to New York City to train full-time as a Jazz & Contemporary Trainee with the Joffrey Ballet School. Under the artistic direction of Angelica Stiskin and associate Michael Waldrop, Kendall trained daily in ballet, modern, contemporary, as well as in commercial styles such as street jazz, hip hop, and theater. After graduating from Joffrey in Spring of 2023 with a BFA, Kendall has remained dedicated to harnessing the immense versatility that Joffrey provided her with. She consistently takes open classes around New York to refine her skills, and also teaches/choreographs for dancers ages 7-18 at D'Valda & Sirico Dance and Music Centre. Kendall is passionate about collaborating with other artists and is very much looking forward to sharing more of her own work with the rest of the dance community in the near future.
